Hey Cowgirls!

I want to welcome you to my page, The Howgirl!

 

I've been dreaming up this blog/vlog/community for over a year now and have FINALLY gotten to the point where I feel like I have the courage to share it with you. I know nowadays, people post content at their every whim and think nothing about posting whatever comes to mind... But that's not me. I think long and hard before I feel comfortable posting anything, because I want it to be QUALITY content. I'm a graphic designer, so I believe a lot of that stems from wanting to only release the best. That doesn't mean I don't want to get raw and honest with you all, but rather I want the content I share to be thought out and researched. That being said, I'm human and I will make mistakes. And I will do my best to own those when (not if) they arise.

Now what's the point of this page and it's affiliated blog/vlog? To share how to make the lives of cowgirls easier, more efficient, and beautiful. My content will focus on horse, home, and a few beauty hacks, but I will venture into whatever you all tell me you want to learn more about. I'll review products, share life hacks, and hopefully this will become a safe and fun environment to learn and share things that have made our lives a little smoother.

I'm sure you will get to know me more as I post more videos and blogs, but a quick summary about me is: I have 6 horses, mostly QHs and one OTTB (off-the-track-thoroughbred). I used to show pleasure and now have switched to reining and ranch shows. My mother and I have recently started a small scale reining horse breeding business and we are so excited to share all the future baby posts with you. I've had horses most of my life and the past few years I have taken a deep dive into learning about equine nutrition, color genetics, and hoof care. I'm also OBSESSED with hair care routines/products (for horses and myself) so if you want long, soft manes and tails I'll be sharing all the tips and tricks to achieve them.
